Dining Groups

One of the loneliest things is to have to eat by yourself. We've set up a way for you to meet other fans who are interested in the same topics (and food) as you are. There will be signups at the con in the Information area but you can set up or join a group in advance in this topic.

You may also find it useful to look at the "where to eat in Boston" topic, or the restaurant reviews in the weblog at http://noreascon4.blogs.com/restaurant/

I might be interested (along w/my SO) in joining a group of people going to vegetarian or vegan restaurants. Anyone interested? I don't know Boston, though, so someone else might have to suggest a place.

Looking to meet up with some fans to go eat Japanese during the con sometime. Did it back at N3, and had great time.

I'm looking for any people interested in dining out at either the Union Oyster House or a restaurant in the Italian Quarter (recommendations for specific restaurants gratefully accepted!)

Come and have dinner with a person crazy enough to drive to Boston from Tucson!

There is an excellent web site that provides information about all of the restaurants in the North End (Boston's Italian section). You will find it at http://www.northendboston.com/dining-restaura nts.htm

Zagat's rated Terramia Ristorante as the best restaurant in the North End (2003-2004). I can't speak to it from personal experience.

Late night, if you find yourself in the North End, a common stop is at Mike's Pastry at 300 Hanover Street (probably the most famous of the Italian bakeries). The "lobster claws" have nothing to do with lobster, and everything to do with puff and evil (and chocolate...did I mention chocolate?).

Finally, a great coffee can be had at Caffe Vittoria, the first Italian coffee shop in Boston, also on Hanover Street.

yes...i am greatly interested in discovering some unique Japanese dining... also vegetarian and/or vegan dining... and not to neglect seafood dining... can you guess that i am happy omnivore? ...nothing escapes... most importantly, it is the good company that i find interesting...
